The Cause is an innovative Hip Hop artist born and raised in New Jersey (New Jupiter). Growing up as an empath and a triplet with a single mom, deaf sister and sister with special needs made him a very unique, different and creative individual. Being heavily influenced by Hip Hop and Soul music, The Cause wanted to be one of the greats and learned from influences ranging from Kanye West to Outkast to Lauryn Hill to Frank Ocean. He began to perform in local venues around 2010 and released the mixtape Truth Hurts. In 2011, he was featured on the song I Used To Dream by Knowledge which gained a big local buzz. They went on to collaborate on 2 projects, Jersey Shore EP and Discovery. The single Carnival Nightmares was played on Hip Hop Nation on Sirius XM Radio. The Cause then released the project, Release Party, which is a release of stress and expression.  Through the years he has collaborated with El Da Sensei, Mr. Green, Big Rube of Dungeon Family, DoItAll of Lords Of The Underground, Fuzz Rico, Sunnie & Nick Wiz. He has been featured in several local newspapers including The Herald, The Record twice and NorthJerseyNews.com. Release Party 2: Empath's Paradise is his new project and is out everywhere now. K.O.J. & Desensitized were both premiered on Hot 97 by Peter Rosenberg. It's a beautiful time.
